Vaios Vaitsis – Chief Executive Officer
With 25 years experience in the software industry, Vaios is a serial entrepreneur in the enterprise software industry, responsible for establishing and growing market leading IT companies.
Before setting up Validata Group, Vaios was the Founder, President and CEO of I+C=S software, which developed platform and applications for the energy sector. Prior to that he was Director of research and development at Raindrop Software, where he ran the development operations.
Based on his extensive knowledge and understanding of the automated lifecycle management (ALM) industry, Vaios saw the need for a model-driven, integrated ALM solution with automated testing capabilities. Based on his vision he created Validata Group in 2004.

Gary Rhodes – Director
Gary brings more than 20 years IT banking experience to Validata Group. Gary joined Validata Group in July 2006 and is responsible for leading the Sales and Business Development team. In addition to overseeing sales, he also has responsibility for most operational aspects within the company.
Prior to joining Validata Group, Gary worked in the IT Financial Services arena. Working within the IT function of a FTSE 100 Investment Bank, he gained experience of implementing and supporting large scale applications within the Central and Financial Markets departments, as well as managing the IT development function within the organisation.
In 2000, Gary was appointed as IT Director, tasked with heading up the IT function of a new Private Bank in the City. In addition to the day-to-day running, Gary was responsible for managing the implementation of, amongst others, the Globus banking offering from Temenos, the Reuters Portfolio Management System and the ONYX CRM solution. On leaving the bank in 2005, Gary spent a short time as Professional Services Director for a consultancy firm specialising in the Temenos Globus/T24™ and SAP market before joining Validata Group.

Anestis Fountoukidis – Non Executive Director
Mr. Fountoukidis currently provides consulting services to Private Equity / Venture Capital concerns, including Due Diligence, Management and Monitoring. He also sits on the Board of Directors of Information Technology and Telecommunications companies.
Mr. Fountoukidis’s professional background includes:
- Assessed and monitored Information Technology and Telecommunications Ventures for a European Private Equity/Venture Capital Firm
- Was President of Temenos USA, Inc. responsible for all aspects of Marketing, Selling and implementing a leading banking software system.
- Was an Executive Director at Bell Communications Research (now Telcordia) responsible for testing the latest technological innovations of the US Telecommunications Network.
- Held the position of Division Manager for Bell Labs, responsible for all development aspects of large software systems to support operations of the US Telecommunications Network.
Anestis Fountoukidis was born in Patras, Greece, in 1949. He holds a BSc from Richmond College, and an MSc and an EE from Columbia University

Constantinos Papathanasiou - Non Executive Director
His career spans over 39 years in the accountancy profession and commerce. Prior to joining Validata Group, he was a practice manager and partner with a firm of Chartered Certified Accountants in the UK. He has served as a financial consultant and director in many financial institutions helping them to build up their business and grow in profit.
He is a Certified Chartered Accountant and holds B.Sc. in Accounting and Finance and MBA. |
