Sainsbury's Bank held their inaugural charity ball on 8th February 2013 at The George Hotel, Edinburgh. Attendance consisted of 180 Sainsbury's Bank head office employees based in and around the Edinburgh area, along with representatives of key corporate sponsors of the event. All proceeds from the ball will go to Maggie's Cancer Caring Centres.

People with cancer need places like Maggie’s. Located in the grounds of major NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's Centres are places that give the support that people with cancer desperately need.
Through innovative community based centres Maggie’s provides a menu of support for people with cancer and their loved ones. Our support varies from giving professional information and advice, to benefits advice, counselling, support groups or practical workshops like nutrition classes. Maggie’s support can be tailored to meet every visitor's individual needs and will ensure they have the right support to cope with the enormity of cancer.
Maggie’s Centres are 100% voluntary funded and everything we provide is free of charge so every penny raised will really make a difference to families in our communities.
