Validata TestCloud™ had already been selected by the bank to help deliver on end-to-end automated testing for its upcoming projects, focusing on using Validata initially for the implementation of their core banking.
With the largest network in the country and an important number of Internet Banking customers, Ficohsa, realized that a performance testing tool was becoming a necessity to validate the environment’s configuration and ensure quality services for their customers.
Apart from the excellent co-operation between Validata and Ficohsa resources, decision was also influenced by the capability of reusability that Validata tool could provide. The test cases that had been developed during the functional testing phase could be adapted for re-use for performance testing as well. That led to a great reduction of risk, effort, time and additional costs.
Unlike traditional performance testing approaches, where performance testing teams are involved very late in the implementation lifecycle and applications are tested and tuned at the latest stages of the project, Validata Performance Tester is designed to meet business needs as environments constantly change, enabling deeper testing coverage as well as new cloud and service based delivery models for testing that offer more flexibility and labor efficiency.
