Validata takes KCB live on TEMENOS T24 R14

London, UK, October 8th, 2016 - Validata Group, the leader in Continuous Testing, Release Automation and Test Analytics, announces that Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), a leading Kenyan financial institution went live on Temenos R14 with Validata.

KCB is the largest local Bank in East Africa, and in over 117 years of its operation the Bank has been a frontrunner in embracing technology and innovation in its operations.

A year ago, KCB took the decision to upgrade to Temenos T24 R14 and despite the challenges, this successful project was implemented on time and on budget by leveraging Validata ATS, Test Analytics and Test Environment Management. Validata’s solution’s accelerated the Upgrade testing process and enabled KCB to standardize their Quality Assurance and keep a centralized shared repository with aggregated information for all the vendors involved in the project. This allowed for better collaboration and communication between the different teams and minimized human error, business risks and unnecessary repeatable manual tasks.

A well designed test automation suite ensured results were delivered quickly and with accuracy as well as having a complete audit trail for compliance assurance.

Over the next years, Validata will continue to support the Bank as a valued customer, and provide all the latest technology innovations and proven methodology to assist them in effectively and efficiently manage their future T24 projects.

“We are delighted to be a part of KCB’s milestone in Kenya and proud to be supporting our customers on their QA and DevOps initiatives.” said Vaios Vaitsis, Founder and CEO of Validata Group. “KCB have been users of our solutions for more than three years now and have seen the value that Validata can bring in their projects. The benefits to be derived from the robust end to end automated testing of applications, processes and operations using Validata tools have added real value to KCB in minimizing time taken to test systems as well as reduce incidents of reworks and downtime,” continued Vaios.
