Key Responsibilities:
- Advise and participate with IT Leadership in the identification and development of Cloud platform strategies.
- Design, implement, configure, and maintain various Azure SaaS Cloud Services such as Azure AD, AIP, ATP, ASR, CAS, EM+S, Teams, Intune, AAD Connect, Exchange Online.
- Deploy and maintain Azure IaaS Virtual Machines and Azure Application and Networking Services to support growth into the cloud.
- Optimize Azure buildouts for cost/performance (VM optimization, reserved instances, etc.)
- Recommend, develop, plan, manage, implement, and fully document IT projects
- Identify improvements to IT documentation, network maps, processes/procedures, and tickets
- Research products and new technologies to increase efficiency of business and operations
- Ensure System configuration is consistent with institutional policies/procedures.
- Communicate technical/complex information both verbally and in writing to peers, senior management, and other non-technical personnel.
- Provide the project teams the appropriate support regarding cloud-specific expertise when implementing solutions
- Support development and production system environments, and provide technical support to users
- Install and maintain third-party application software, maintaining continuity with licensing and maintenance agreements.
- Monitor and tune system for performance.
- Administer system security, data backups and recoveries.
Required skills/experience:
- 5 or more years of working experience
- Bachelor or Master’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Microsoft Azure certification
- Good knowledge of network administration, TCP/IP protocols, Internet services (DNS, FTP, etc.), Windows family protocols
- Good knowledge of firewall principles
- Fluency in English (oral and written)
- Container and Orchestration Experience with APIs and Microservices (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and best practices
- An ability to establish and maintain cooperation, understanding, trust and credibility within the team.
- Perform multiple tasks concurrently and respond to emergency situations effectively.
- Ability to work on multiple IT projects, as well as manage day to day operations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
